Dear Denise,
I just met you last Tuesday on your last lesson in Cambridge. I was fascinated by your class and decided to be more active with kundalini practice. You said bunch of interesting things that triggered more reading for me and my husband. Thank you for that! I will definitely go to Sat Nam festival and will do my best to practice at home and visit classes. Best of luck with your move! Too bad I didn't use that time that you have been near by... I will watch your retreats and may be will have an opportunity to join!
Sat nam,
Ella.

Wow, Dejisan. How inspirational! Yes, surrender is the key, isn't it? What is, simply IS and "home (om) is certainly where the heart is". You have traveled a great distance (and I'm not talking "geographically" - although that's true) and are now opening to the abundance that all that traveling has brought you! Security truly is an illusion we create to keep us from living, fully, our truth. And as you said, it is in the face of fear that we grow. Courage isn't about being "unafraid", it's about allowing yourself to experience those things that scare you! And, a practice isn't a practice just on the mat - that's just a part of it. The rue practice is "living" it then "giving" it.

BTW: someone recently recommended "The End of Your World". I guess it's time to check it out. Thanks for this!!

Hi! I just ran across your blog, while searching for Kundalini yoga in the Baltimore area. I was sorry to see you are no longer here, but leads to my next question. Is there a center you can recommend where one can begin the practice of Kundalini Yoga? Thanks so much for sharing your journey- Maggie

Very interesting... What I got out of this was, we all seem to have some deep habitual, emotional patterns that need to be "overcome". And I can slow down and pause, to stop the pattern from taking root. But what about if you have such a deep, habitual pattern that you don't want to continue-and you ask God to help you quit, but you can't.
I guess this is where I have to TOTALLY surrender. To over-come the darkness.
      Thanks, and Sat Nam.
