Denise “Kirpal Kaur” B. Lapides,E-RYT-500, IKYTA
I have been a seeker my whole life, looking outside instead of in, struggling to find wholeness. My first yoga experience blew my mind, as I felt at home inside of myself like I had never felt. From that moment on, purpose, service, love and devotion have guided my heart. I am in constant amazement at the unfolding of life in each of us and how we are truly, all one.
My first teacher training with Bobbi Golden of the Yoga Institute of Miami, led me to Integrative Yoga Therapy (Joseph LePage); and then to an intensive Level I Teacher’s training in the deeply spiritual and sacred science of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. I completed a comprehensie Yoga Alliance 500 HR course in February ‘08, to broaden my awareness and ability to integrate all eight limbs of Yoga.
“Thank you for the privilege of a lifetime to sit before you and share these eternal teachings. I welcome you to the journey that never ends, that simply is all there is.” |
Throughout, these great and humble teachers have and continue to influence and guide me in my journey, Gurmukh, Shiva Rea, Seane Corne, Barbara Benaugh, Angela Farmer and Victor Van Cooten, Rodney Yee, Donna Farhi, Jonny Kest, David Life, Sharon Gannon, Deva Kaur Khalsa and Kirn Kaur Khalsa.
I am registered with Yoga Alliance at the E-RYT-500 level and am certified as an International Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Level I. My BA is in Economics Management and Behavorial Sociology. I am working on the Advanced Level II Kundalini Yoga Certification modules, and enjoy attending workshops, trainings and ongoing classes around the country in Hatha, Kundalini Yoga, White Tantric Yoga and spiritual retreats, and maintain my Sadhana, a
daily spiritual practice.
My intention is to create a warm, nurturing and inspiring atmospher for you where you are encouraged to reach a deeper place within, and to be the Truth of who you are. Asana is but one limb and my intention is to expose you to the other 7 throughout my classes, workshops, retreats and teacher trainings.
I have eternal gratitude to every being that has touched my life and opened my eyes to how continuously amazing life is, especially my two greatest teachers, my son and daughter. Sat Nam and Wahe Guru.
