Teacher Certification Program
This program is sanctioned and approved by the Kundalini Research Institute and meets their requirements for a Level I Certification and also meets the 200 hour requirements to register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT 200. Due to the nature of the training, in a residential setting, each hour and day is an integral part of the program and must be attended. In addition to the following requirements, outside study, practice, attendance at regular classes and workshops will be required as well as meeting a personal Sadhana commitment. All reading, written assignments and class participation is part of meeting the requirements. Any missed hours will be scheduled for makeup at the discretion of the lead trainer. Students are expected to complete assignments between residential sessions. The Aquarian Teacher Certification program is open both to yoga students ready to become teachers and those who wish to immerse themselves in the science of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.
Residential Study and Location: Living together in a serene, natural environment allows you to delve deeper and to capture the richness of the program. Residential styled teacher trainings in Asia and India have shown that students capture the essence and depth of the teachings in a more integrated way when each day begins with sadhana and ends with cozy time around the house. You will have more access to your teachers, opportunities for relaxation, quiet and gathering, and the overall group participation and interaction forms a lasting bond of friendship, trust and support. Fresh, organic, vegetarian wholesome meals are included in the plan, three times a day. Special dietary needs will be taken into consideration, and you may bring any special foods or snacks that you like.
